During a visit to France, Geneviève Leblanc, a student from the Chair, had the opportunity to give a conference to nurses and nursing managers at the Bordeaux University Hospital Centre (CHU de Bordeaux). She presented a literature review of the research project for her Master’s thesis about the meanings of caring for older people’s for nurses working in the ER.

This presentation contributed to the diffusion of knowledge on nursing care for older people. It equally fostered professional reflection and it was an enriching exchange of the respective realities and similarities in nursing care for older people and their families.
