Instead of rooms or care units, the CEO of a home-care facility for older people living with Alzheimer’s disease in the state of Ohio decided to offer them a more familiar setting. He reproduced for each of them a little house on what look like quiet little streets that recall the neighborhoods where many of them grew up. This more natural environment aims to optimize the autonomy of these older people and their rehabilitation.
