Scientific Committee

Role 

The scientific committee has the following responsibilities:

  • Advise the Chairholder on any subject related to the Chair’s scientific program;
  • Validate the relevance of the five-year research program developed by the Chairholder and to recommend its approval to the management committee;
  • Develop the eligibility criteria, granting terms and conditions and assessment criteria for the scholarship and award competitions;
  • Assess scholarship and award applications and select the recipients.
     

Composition

The committee is composed of the following people (in alphabetical order):

  • Anne Bourbonnais, Chairholder of the Research Chair in Nursing Care for Older People and their Families, Committee Chair
  • Marie-Hélène Lavallée, Advanced Practice Clinician Nurse, Department of Nursing - Professional Practice Section, Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
  • Jacqueline Rousseau, Researcher and Person-Environment lab director, Research Centre of the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal du Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal
  • Jacinthe Pepin, Professor and Secretary of Faculty, Faculty of Nursing, Université de Montréal
