Description

Caring for older people and their care partners ... a science that can be learned

Older people and their care partners’ experiences are unique to their age group and require to be addressed with specific knowledge. Consequently, society needs highly qualified healthcare professionals and researchers today and for the future. The Chair provides students with an adequate environment to learn the science of caring for older people and their care partners. The Chair supervises graduate students (master, PhD and postdoctoral) and provides mentorship both locally and internationally to students or new researchers with an interest in the care of older people. Research internships (undergraduate or graduate) are also part of the academic training activities offered by the Chair.
