Team


The Chair’s functioning and successful accomplishment of its mission is carried out by the following team:

 

Émilie Lefrançois, RN, MSc, Chair Coordinator. Ms. Lefrançois joined the Chair team in March of 2025. She is responsible for the administrative activities of the Chair, including the coordination of the Management Committee, the Scientific Committee, scholarship competitions, finances and website management. She also contributes to the development and visibility of the Chair. 

Ms. Lefrançois is a nurse with a Master’s degree in Nursing from the Université de Montréal. With a career spanning more than 20 years, she has worked mainly with older people in the community, hospital and long-term care homes, as a clinician, clinical nurse specialist and manager.

Isabelle Auclair, RN, PhD (cand.), Research professional. Ms. Auclair is a doctoral candidate in nursing at the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal.

Adriana Ferreira, Ac, MSc public health, Research professional. With a backgrounds in medicine and acupuncture, Ms. Ferreira holds a master's degree in public health from the Université de Montréal's School of Public Health.

Bich-Lien Nguyen, RN, PhD (cand.), Research professional. Ms. Nguyen is a doctoral candidate in nursing at the Faculty of Nursing of the Université de Montréal.

Rose Pagé, student, Research professional. Ms. Pagé holds a bachelor's degree in political science and is completing a bachelor's degree in nursing at Université de Montréal.

Cecilia Leon Palomino, RN, Msc, Research professional.  Ms. Leon Palomino is a PhD student in nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Université de Montréal.

Hélène Poirier, MSc. public health, Research professional. Ms. Poirier works as research coordinator for the DECIBELS project assessing the effectiveness of an intervention approach based on the meanings of vocal behaviours of older people living with Alzheimer's disease.
