During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Marie-Hélène Lalonde, a former student and former research coordinator at the Chair, came up with the idea with her colleagues of creating an interprofessional clinical squad to support care teams of the 17 long-term care homes in her health institution regarding the knowledge and implementation of new practices related to the pandemic. For this initiative, Ms. Lalonde was awarded the Prix Profession Santé—in the 2020 Nursing Knowledge transfer—category.
