An article published in the November-December 2019 issue of the journal Perspective infirmière presents the committed and inspiring career path of Elisabeth Laughrea, a former student of the Chair who recently completed her master’s degree in nursing. By her leadership within her organization and her involvement in teaching, notably at the Université de Montréal, Ms. Laughrea actively contributes to the improvement of care for older people. She promotes the development of a professional practice based on the optimal use of nursing competencies for the benefit of the well-being of older people.
