An important research grant for the Chairholder!
The Chairholder, Doctor Anne Bourbonnais, received a $310,000 grant from the project grant program of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for a clinical trial assessing an intervention approach based on the meanings of vocal behaviours in older people living with Alzheimer’s disease in long-term care facilities.
The Chairholder, Doctor Anne Bourbonnais, received a $310,000 grant from the project grant program of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for a clinical trial assessing an intervention approach based on the meanings of vocal behaviours in older people living with Alzheimer’s disease in long-term care facilities. This study called “DECIBELS Project” will compare the effectiveness of this approach compared to usual care.
This grant represents an important support in carrying out the Chair’s research program and influence the quality of care of older people.
