The Chair, with the Associated Dean of Research and International Development of the Faculty of Nursing, welcomed Dr. Mary Mittelman on April 20 for a conference. Dr. Mittelman is an epidemiologist, professor and renowned researcher at the Department of Psychiatry of the NYU School of Medicine.

Her conference was entitled “Psychosocial Interventions to Improve the Well-being of Family Caregivers and their Relatives with Dementia: NYU Research and a New Model Support Program“. Undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professors manifested a strong interest in her presentation.

Her leadership in this field and her impressive research results captivated the participants’ attention.

The conference was followed by a cocktail where the participants had the opportunity to interact with the speaker.
