The Chair is organizing a simultaneous session as part of the 7^th International Congress of the Secrétariat international des infirmières et infirmiers de l’espace francophone (SIDIIEF) which will take place in Bordeaux, France, from June 3 to 6, 2018.

This 90-minute session entitled “Better understanding for better care of older people: The story of Ms. Desjardins” will tell the story of a fictive older people living with Alzheimer’s disease, her family and her caregivers over the continuum of care, from the emergency room to long-term care. This story will illustrate challenges, and research done to improve the quality of care of older people.
