The Chair submitted a brief to the General assembly conducted by the Order of Nurses of Québec. Rich discussion with collaborators contributed to the reflection on the themes proposed for the General assembly. The brief adopts an ethical and proactive perspective oriented towards the interests of the population, especially older people and their relatives. It addresses the notions of accountability, agency and advocacy of nurses directly related to the quality and equity of care offered to the population. It’s with this perspective that this brief proposes actions.
