In August 2019, the first village for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder was opened in British Columbia.
In August 2019, the first village for people living with Alzheimer’s disease or a related disorder was opened in British Columbia. Inspired by a model from Holland, this type of infrastructure provides a stimulating environment adapted to the needs of people living with a neurocognitive disorder. It can contribute to improving the quality of life of these people.
