A Quebec-based company, Eugenia, has developed a technology to support people with neurocognitive disorders living at home. It is a digital clock with a calendar function that can be used, among other things, to display reminders for appointments, tasks or events. This technology also allows family caregivers to be remotely connected to manage the clock and communicate with the person living with cognitive impairment. For example, the family caregiver can ask the person to confirm that they have taken their medication with a single click on the screen.
