As 2023 marked the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People (GAROP) has launched the petition “IT’S TIME to Age With Rights” for the drafting of a United Nations (UN) convention on the rights of older people.

This alliance is a network of more than 400 organizations worldwide concerned with the rights of the older people.
