All it took was an empty apartment in a seniors’ residence and the desire to help newcomers from Ukraine to come up with the idea of inviting Ukrainian students to live in their residence. Excited about the project, the residents enthusiastically prepared for the arrival of the two students from the Université de Montréal. This intergenerational project is a win-win situation … because in the end, in this beautiful story, it is not only the students who are the learners!
